In year 2019, I decided to take 6 months sabbatical break and reflect upon my life. This is a much needed break after I have worked continuously for the past 20 years. To some of you, it may sound like a “mid-life crisis”. But to me, it is a mid-life reboot. Time to clear cache, take stock, so that I can run faster with a clearer sense of mission.

My reflection concludes that my love in helping organisations and individuals improve is still as strong as ever. And I feel that, other than helping people professionally, I can also pen down what I have learned in the form of a blog, so that I can better crystallise my thoughts, and I can share with others like-minded people. That is what this blog is about – to crystallise and to share.

As I think about the various Lean and management principles, I see a connection with Zen and other wisdom in life. I see them in sync and complementary with one another. Business Excellence simply would not be complete without the people also achieving high performance and happiness.

Therefore, in this blog, I plan to cover the topics of Business Excellence, Personal Excellence and Spiritual Growth. Hopefully, my articles can bring benefits both organisations and individuals.
